Abstract

The implementation of Academic Information System (SIAKAD) technology at higher education institutions often faces technical challenges and psychological pressures that impact user satisfaction and organizational performance. This study aims to evaluate an integrated model for the Academic Information System (SIAKAD) at the Faculty of Science and Technology, Ibrahimy University, by combining three main pillars: DeLone & McLean (technical quality), the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) (adoption behavior), and Human-Organization-Technology Fit (HOT -Fit (organizational alignment), as well as the addition of the variables Interface Design Quality, Trust, and the moderating variable Technostress. This study employed a quantitative approach with a sample of 307 respondents selected at random, and data analysis was conducted using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). Of the 11 hypotheses tested, nine were accepted and two were rejected. Technology and human factors were found to have a positive effect on user satisfaction, whereas the organizational factor had a positive effect on the intention to use the system. Interestingly, the technology dimension did not have a direct effect on behavioral usage intentions, consistent with the mandatory nature of the SIAKAD system. Furthermore, technostress was not found to moderate the relationship between technology and user satisfaction, indicating adequate digital resilience among the academic community. User satisfaction and behavioral usage intention significantly contribute to net benefit, with this integrated model explaining 38.5%–50.2% of the variance in the three dependent variables. These findings confirm that the success of evaluating the integrated model for SIAKAD depends heavily on the alignment between human, organizational, and technological factors.
