Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of biometric technology in the BYOND by BSI app by BSI customers using a modified Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach. This study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through a questionnaire administered to 210 respondents who were users of the BYOND by BSI app and met the criteria. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling method. The analysis method employed was Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using SmartPLS 3 software. The results of the study show that Perceived Ease of Use influences Perceived Usefulness. Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, and Attitude Toward Using influence Behavioral Intention to Use. Additionally, Trust influence Attitude Toward Using and Perceived Usefulness, but do not influence Behavioral Intention to Use. The research results also show that Behavioral Intention to Use influences Actual System Use. The findings of this study can serve as a basis for BSI to enhance the use of biometric technology by improving usability, benefits, and the customer experience on the BYOND by BSI app.
