Abstract

This research aims to determine library users’ perceptions to the digital library service quality in the UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta Library. The approach of this study was quantitative descriptive. The subjects of this research were users who used the digital library service in the UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta Library. The object of this research were the user's perception of the digital library service quality based on the LibQual+™ dimension. The population in this study was the library users of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta in the 2020, amounting to 20,533 people with 100 respondents as samples that were chosen using the Slovin formula. The data collection was done through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The obtained data were analyzed by the formula mean and grand mean. The perceptions measurement was based on three dimensions of LibQual+™, namely the dimension of Affect of Service or performance of officers in service, Information Control or quality of information and information access and Library as Place or library facilities and infrastructures. The results of this research indicate that the users’ perception of the digital library service quality of the Perpustakaan UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta based on the LibQual+™ dimension is categorized as good with a value of 3.15. Furthermore, in the dimension of Affect of Service service or performance, the score is 3.07, the dimension of Information Control or information quality and access to information obtained a value of 3.15, and the dimension Library as Place or library facilities and infrastructure obtained a value of 3.24 so that in each dimension in the digital library service quality, the Perpustakaan UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta is categorized as good. Suggestions to the UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta Library, namely the results of this study can be used as evaluation material to improve and improve the quality of services digital library. The UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta Library and the library need to improve the quality of human resources by holding training and training for library staff.
