Abstract

The Purpose of this study wasto examine and analyze the effect of Quality of Work Life and individual characteristics on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable at BPD DIY Syariah bank. Research development is carriend out by reviewing and analyzing both the direct influence of Quality of Work Life on employee performance, the influence of individual characteristics on employee performance, as well as the influence of these two variables indirectly through job satisfaction. The sample used in this study was the entire population of BPD DIY Syariah bank employees with a total of 40 employees. The analytical method used is SPSS version 25. The results of this study indicate that the Quality of Work Life, individual characteristics, and job satisfaction partially affect employee performance. Quality of work life and individual characteristics partially affect job satisfaction. While indirectly, it has no effect on quality of work life on employee performance through job satisfaction, and indirectly individual characteristics also do not have an influence on employee performance through job satisfaction.
