Abstract

The current media development has moved to new internet-based media. New media are certainly needed in the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia, which has been going on for quite a long time. The Covid-19 pandemic requires people to be able to adapt to new habits. This new adaptation certainly requires accurate and fast information which is very much needed during this Covid 19 pandemic. The purpose of this research is to provide direction on how to change a healthy and better lifestyle during the current pandemic through dr.Tirta's Instagram social media account. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The method of collecting data from this study uses interviews, observations, and documentary studies by utilizing Instagram as a medium in changing the lifestyle of followers of the Instagram account @dr. Tirta. The theoretical basis of this research uses Albert Bandura's Social Learning Theory. The presence of dr. Tirta in educating his followers on Instagram aims to change his lifestyle to be healthier. For this reason, many factors cause changes in the lifestyle of their followers, both internal and external factors such as cognition, behavior, and the environment. All of these factors are reciprocally related to each other. From this research, followers of dr. Tirta revealed that dr. Tirta is one of the role models in changing their lifestyle during the Covid 19 pandemic.
