Abstract

The development of information and communication technology in the Industry 4.0 era, which is so rapid, information security risks are increasing. Weak information assets allow unauthorized parties to interfere with activities related to assets of educational institutions and Islamic boarding schools. Evaluation of Information Technology Security Systems Using Our Index (Case Study: Yogyakarta Al-Munawwir Islamic Boarding School and Yogyakarta Sunni Darussalam Islamic Boarding School) which get index results of 170 and 284 are not optimal. This underlies the need to implement the KAMI index on information technology systems at Islamic boarding schools. This research was conducted as an optimization to support the information technology security system process so that it can work according to the KAMI index standards. The research methods used included literature study, interview instrument development, information gathering, assessing the level of interest and readiness, comparative analysis and suggestions for improvement to find out to ensure the level of information security readiness/maturity at Al-Munawwir Islamic Boarding School Krapyak and Sunni Darussalam Islamic Boarding School. The results of this final evaluation also show that the existing information technology security system at the Al-Munawwir Islamic Boarding School in Yogyakarta and the Yogyakarta Sunni Darussalam Islamic Boarding School requires improvement because it gets an evaluation score of 170 and 284 which can be concluded that it is not optimal or is still low.
