Abstract

Development of library information technology to change the paradigm of the library collection which was originally oriented to the ownership becomes oriented access capabilities of the collection. Therefore the use of the collection is necessary to know how big these collections can be accessed and dimanfaakan by users. Utilization of e-book is a collection of research on the collections of the Library Unit conducted Faculty of Medicine, University of Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta. This study aims to determine the level of utilization of e-book collection of courses that are expected this can provide input for policy makers in the Library Unit of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Gadjah Mada University on the collection and also maximize the users of the collection. Utilization of E‐Book Collection is done by descriptive method with quantitative approach. The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire that includes two factors: internal and external factors. Utilization of Research Results E‐Book Collection relatively well seen from the results of the total cumulative percentage average of seventy-two point heading hundred twenty-seven percent (72.727%), from these results can be interpreted that quite well in using the e-book collection and some students of Medical Education University of Gadjah Mada in the presence of e-book collections are very supportive to the smoothness of the study
