Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology recently has caused many changes in various aspects, one of which is health. Information systems are one of the technologies that can assist in data management, especially in the field of pharmacy and drugs in pharmacies. Wonokromo Pharmacy is one of the pharmacies engaged in pharmaceuticals and medicines. To manage drug and medical device data, this pharmacy has used a desktop-based or offline information system. However, this system faces several challenges, such as limitations in access and mobility. Therefore, this pharmacy needs an information system that can be accessed online. This research uses the Extreme Programming (XP) method to develop an online information system that can help develop a drug and medical device system at the Wonokromo Pharmacy to become web-based. The result of this study is an online information system that can help manage data on drugs and medical devices at the Wonokromo Pharmacy. This system can be accessed flexibly from various devices and locations, and also allows pharmacies to access data in real-time. It is hoped that this information system can assist in making decisions more quickly and efficiently in pharmacy operations.
