Abstract

UPT Logam is a technical implementing unit that produces tools made of metal and has played a role as a supplier of aluminum for Small and Medium Industries (IKM). UPT Logam is located in Umbulharjo, Yogyakarta City. UPT Logam provides a wide range of services for metal production with a make to order business strategy. The problem with UPT Logam is the lack of an information system that can help the UPT Logam administration system and add information to tourists who want to visit UPT Logam. The design of a web-based tourism administration management information system is carried out to be a solution to this problem. The system was built using the waterfall model which started with a system requirements analysis by conducting interviews and direct observations to see the conditions in the field, then designing the system with a prototype design for the web to be built, designing through the Content Management System and maintaining and maintaining the web periodically. The system created uses HTML and PHP and uses the MySQL database. The system has 2 main users, namely admin and tourists with different functions and website usage rights, so that it can make it easier for each user according to their user rights. The system was created to help with existing problems, simplify administration for tourists who wish to register for industrial visits by creating administrative features on the admin user. The system is also made with authentication features so that user security is maintained every time a user accesses the UPT Logam website.
