Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is an influence between self-acceptance and social support on adolescent learning motivation in the orphanage of orphans and dhu'afa Yogyakarta. The hypotheses of this study are three, namely, first there is an influence between self-acceptance on the motivation to learn of adolescents in orphanages and dhu'afa Yogyakarta. Second, there is an influence between social support on adolescent learning motivation in orphanages and dhu'afa Yogyakarta. Third, there is an influence between self-acceptance and social support on adolescent learning motivation in orphanages and dhu'afa Yogyakarta. Respondents in this study amounted to 100 foster children who were in the orphanage orphanage and dhu'afa mafaza Yogyakarta. The sampling technique in this study used a saturated sample technique. The type of research used is quantitative research with data collection techniques using three scales, namely the self-acceptance scale, social support, and learning motivation. Data analysis in this study used multiple regression models with the help of SPSS 18.0 for windows software. The results of this study indicate that first there is no significant influence between self-acceptance on adolescent learning motivation in orphanages and dhu'afa Yogyakarta with the results of sig level = 0.076 (P < 0.05). Second, there is a significant influence between social support on adolescent learning motivation in orphanages and dhu'afa Yogyakarta with the result of sig level = 0.001 (P < 0.05). Third, there is a significant influence between self-acceptance and social support on adolescent learning motivation in orphanages and dhu'afa Yogyakarta with the result of sig level = 0.000 (P < 0.05).
