Abstract

This research aims to understand how the perception of library users toward the services reference for the library and archives of Kulon Progo. This research method is descriptive. The subject of the study is library users, while the object is the perception of library users toward the service reference for the library and archives of Kulon Progo Regency. The researcher takes 15.060 members of library of Kulon Progo population sampling. Sample are taken using accidental sampling method, result 99 people as samples. The research has a single variable, that is the perception of library users toward the measurement of library users perception based kind service reference in service referral principal and service referral supporting. The result of the research shows that the perception toward service reference the library and archives of Kulon Progo regency is good, As the is 3,18. The service reference is B with interpretation is good, too. Based on the result, it is advised for the library and archives of Kulon Progo regency to increase the of its services.
